Six items, and only one is a shirt

The India section is very thin, and most of what is here is not what people expect. There are six items dated between 2008 and 2022, and exactly one of them is a shirt: a 2017 authentic away shirt graded 10 out of 10. The other five are a 2021-22 Six5Six polo, a pair of 2021-22 home shorts, a pair of 2022-23 away shorts and two pairs of 2008-10 player issue home shorts, in medium and large. Why so little reaches the market

India has never played at a FIFA World Cup. The team qualified by default for the 1950 tournament after every other side in its group withdrew, then withdrew itself. Its strongest period came in the 1950s and early 1960s under Syed Abdul Rahim, with Asian Games gold in 1951 and 1962 and fourth place at the 1956 Olympics, and it finished runner-up at the AFC Asian Cup in 1964. Domestically the record is better: eight SAFF Championships since 1993, the Nehru Cup in 2007 and 2009 and the AFC Challenge Cup in 2008. None of those shirts circulate in the European resale trade, which is why the oldest item here dates only from 2008.
