One shirt, from the season that made the club famous

There is exactly one Progrès Niederkorn item in the catalogue, and it happens to be the right one: a 2017-18 home shirt in size small, graded 7 out of 10. That is the season of the club’s best-known result. On 4 July 2017, in the first qualifying round of the Europa League, Progrès lost 1-0 at Ibrox and then beat Rangers 2-0 at the Stade Josy Barthel. It was the club’s first ever win in European football, having scored only once in the competition before that tie.

The club, and why nothing else surfaces

Founded on 14 August 1919 as Cercle Sportif Progrès Niederkorn, the club won the Luxembourg National Division three times, in 1952-53, 1977-78 and 1980-81, and has five Luxembourg Cups, the most recent in 2023-24. It went further in Europe in 2018-19, knocking out Gabala and Budapest Honvéd before losing to Ufa in the third qualifying round. Crowds are the point here: the club drew an average home gate of 710 in the 2016-17 season. Kit is printed in the low hundreds, almost all of it stays in Luxembourg, and that is why a single shirt is the whole of what has reached the resale market.
